ACRE announced Thursday it has acquired Razberi Technologies, a Texas-based company that offers platforms to manage video surveillance and networked-connected devices.
The company said in a statement that the acquisition “will enhance ACRE’s strategic expansion plans for strengthening its video and communications business and product portfolio.”
ACRE was founded in 2012 — since then the company has acquired Comnet in 2016, Open Options in 2018, and RS2 in 2019. ACRE is also the parent organization of Vanderbilt Industries.

“The acquisition of Razberi boosts ComNet’s reach in the communications space and enhances our product portfolio with the addition of advanced cyber security and system health monitoring technologies,” said ACRE’s CEO Joe Grillo.
Razberi, established in 2011, develops open product platforms that work with third-party video cameras, video management and video analytics software, and provide cybersecurity protection. ACRE said it will leverage that expertise beyond video for its access control brands for server builds, cybersecurity and system health monitoring.
“We are excited to join the ACRE organization with its strong global reach that will open new opportunities for the Razberi product range,” added Tom Galvin, founder and Chief Product Officer, Razberi. Galvin will remain general manager for Razberi and will be active in integrating the company into the ACRE organization.
Imperial Capital were the advisors to Razberi on this transaction. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
